Advice Center, Student Secretariat, Examination Office: The HfMDK's Student Service supports prospective and current students from Germany and abroad on their path to academic success.
We are the central point of contact for you - we answer all your general questions about the allocation of study places, studies and scholarships and take care of the entire study administration.
The department is also responsible for the campus management system. The digital HfMDK, we are part of it: as a student service, we are responsible for the university information system and are working on digitizing administrative processes.

The Registrar's Office is responsible for the following issues:
- Enrollment, re-registration, de-registration and leave of absence
- Guest students
- Organization and administration of the application process and aptitude tests
- Address and name changes
- Certificates for pensions, studies etc.
No walk-in hours on September 02, 05, 09 an 23.
Examinations
We are your contact persons for the topics:
- Registration for module examinations
- Withdrawal from examinations
- Performance overviews/transcript of records
- Certificates and diplomas
- Notarizations/apostilles
- BAföG certificates
- Recognition of credits already earned for Bachelor's and Master's degree programs (Ms. Rosenberger)

Germany Scholarship
The Deutschlandstipendium is open to students and first-year students of all nationalities who are in the standard period of study. Further information on the application and the required documents can be found at Deutschlandstipendium.
International Office
The International Office can provide you with help and information on the following topics:
- Studying abroad (especially Erasmus, DAAD scholarship programs)
- Scholarships for specialized courses/summer courses/master courses abroad (PROMOS) - call for applications in the summer semester
- Scholarships for international students (STIBET) - call for applications in the summer semester
- Emergency scholarships for international students - application possible at any time
- "Qualified statements" for the extension of the residence permit
- Coordination of German courses
