Currently, about 300 students are enrolled in the teaching degree programs for all types of schools, in the master's program Educational Science in Music, in the composition programs, the MA Bigband – for players, writers and conductors and in the master's program of the International Ensemble Modern Academy (IEMA).

Teacher Education Advisory Board (LBB)

The Teacher Education Advisory Board (LBB) at the Faculty 2 deals with all issues of teacher education, advises the department, and supports the department in intensifying its contacts with the ministries and Goethe University. The Advisory Board is composed of teacher education faculty representatives, representatives of the department, and students and meets approximately once per semester, usually on a project-by-project basis.
