At pre­sent, around 300 stu­dents are stu­dy­ing on the tea­ching de­gree cour­ses for all ty­pes of schools, the Mas­ter's de­gree in Mu­sic Edu­ca­ti­on, the com­po­si­ti­on cour­ses, the MA Big­band - for play­ers, wri­ters and con­duc­tors and the Mas­ter's de­gree cour­se at the In­ter­na­tio­nal En­sem­ble Mo­dern Aca­de­my (IEMA).

The Tea­cher Trai­ning Ad­vi­so­ry Board (LBB) at Fa­cul­ty 2 for Tea­ching Qua­li­fi­ca­ti­ons, Sci­ence and Com­po­si­ti­on deals with all mat­ters re­la­ting to tea­cher trai­ning, ad­vi­ses the fa­cul­ty and sup­ports it in in­ten­si­fy­ing its con­tac­ts with the mi­nis­tries and Goe­the Uni­ver­si­ty. The ad­vi­so­ry board is made up of sub­ject re­p­re­sen­ta­ti­ves from tea­cher trai­ning, re­p­re­sen­ta­ti­ves of the de­part­ment and stu­dents and meets ap­pro­xi­mate­ly once a se­mes­ter, usual­ly on a pro­ject-re­la­ted ba­sis.
