Cooperations

As a "networking" university, the HfMDK cooperates with all major cultural institutions in the region and beyond, and is committed to involving all people in the arts through long-term projects.

Later in their professional lives, our graduates also need those who sit in front of the stage - people who have developed a love of music, theater and dance because they had formative encounters with these arts at a young age.

This is why the HfMDK also sees itself as an initiator and supporter of educational projects, through which it has a direct impact on its environment and transforms its responsibility for cultural education into active encounters between artists and young people.

The HfMDK has developed or initiated many of the numerous school and children's projects in which it is involved. These include, among others

• Primacanta in cooperation with the Crespo Foundation
• Response Hessen
• Music Month May
• Bridges in the classroom in cooperation with the Bridges Chamber Orchestra

The HfMDK Frankfurt is a member of the Association Européene des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen (AEC).

The International Office has numerous partnerships with universities in Europe and around the world.

In addition to the numerous collaborations with regional cultural institutions - such as opera performances in Frankfurt's and the region's theaters, concerts in churches and halls - the HfMDK continues to give new impetus to cultural life (including with the idea of the Frankfurt LAB and through various series of events, e.g. with the Senckenberg Museum, the Alte Oper and with ID Frankfurt from the independent cultural scene).

However, all of these projects can only be realized thanks to the continuous support of the many committed cooperation partners.
