Special application period for bassoon runs until September 30

An­yo­ne who would like to stu­dy bas­so­on at the HfMDK from the win­ter se­mes­ter 2024/25 now has un­til Sep­tem­ber 30, 2024 to ap­p­ly for the Ba­che­lor's and Mas­ter's de­gree cour­ses in Ar­tis­tic Mu­sic Stu­dies (KAM) or the Mas­ter's in In­stru­men­tal Stu­dies (Fo­cus: Tea­ching). The ap­ti­tu­de tests will take place on Oc­to­ber 11, 2024.

New at the HfMDK: Theo Plath will take over the bas­so­on pro­fes­sor­ship from the win­ter se­mes­ter 2023/24. He is solo bas­soo­nist at the Frank­furt Ra­dio Sym­pho­ny Or­ches­tra and one of the lea­ding bas­soo­nists of his ge­nera­ti­on.
