The Master's program Contemporary Dance Education offers an online question and answer session to all interested parties as well as future students. Do you have questions about the application or would you like to learn more about the program in general?

MA CoDE: Aptitude test for the summer semester 2023
The application period runs until December 1. The aptitude test will take place in January and the program will start in April 2023
The English-language Master of Contemporary Dance Education (MA CoDE) is aimed at experienced dancers, performers, and choreographers who want to explore the foundations of their work in the context of contemporary dance education
The MA CoDE is both theoretical and practical in nature: The program focuses on students' individual interests, supports them in their elaboration, and follows the highest artistic and academic standards. Emphasis is placed on comparative methodology in contemporary dance, analysis of group processes, reflection, communication and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The reference to practice is always central - in close cooperation with international partners and in association with the Hessian Theater Academy, we realize diverse projects and mediation formats in the professional field.
