Vasiliy Antipov is composer, organist, guitarist and lutenist

Vasiliy Antipov: I finished symphony and would love to share its MIDI rendering with the full score attached. If you listen while following the notation, you can get a clear sense of how it might sound in a real performance.
This symphony is a truly innovative work—especially in its form. For the first time ever, I’ve applied fractalization of form using a technique I developed called integrated forms. The idea is this: take any existing form (say, a fugue), break it into its basic components (subject, countersubject, answer, episode), and replace each component with a fully developed form of its own—like a canon, ground bass, or another fugue. These nested forms combine into a super-form made of smaller, self-contained structures.
