En­ri­que Ro­dríguez Ye­bra was born in 1998 in Pon­fer­ra­da, Spain. He be­gan play­ing the dou­ble bass at the age of 8. In his home­town, he star­ted the Pro­fes­sio­nal Dou­ble Bass Stu­dies fi­nis­hing them in 2016 with the hig­hest qua­li­fi­ca­ti­on. Sin­ce 2017 he stu­dies the Ba­che­lor De­gree un­der the gui­d­ance of Prof. Chris­toph Schmidt at the Hoch­schu­le für Mu­sik und Dar­stel­len­de Kunst Frank­furt am Main.

En­ri­que is cur­r­ent­ly part of or­che­s­tras like Sym­pho­ny Or­ches­tra Vigo 430 and Or­ches­tra Gaos and is Princi­pal Bass in the Ga­li­cia Youth Sym­pho­ny Or­ches­tra. He has also play­ed with the Ga­li­cia Sym­pho­ny Or­ches­tra and in 2017 he play­ed in the Kon­zert­haus Ber­lin and the Kur­haus in Wies­ba­den with the Cu­ban Eu­ropean Youth Aca­de­my of the Bal­tha­sar Neu­mann En­sem­ble.

He has play­ed with so­loist such as Ste­fan Dohr, So­phie Pa­ci­ni or Guil­ler­mo Pastra­na and con­duc­tors such as Cris­to­bal Halff­ter, Dima Slo­bo­de­niouk or Je­sus Lopez Co­bos.

As com­po­ser, En­ri­que has at­ten­ded to mas­ter­clas­ses and cour­ses with Cris­to­bal Halff­ter, Tomás Mar­co or José Ma­ría Sán­chez Ver­dú. He is cur­r­ent­ly stu­dy­ing with Is­ra­el López Estel­che.
