Danique de Bont was born in the Netherlands in 2000.

She began her dance training at the Royal Conservatory The Hague. After she became more interested in contemporary dance she started training at ArtEZ Venlo and continued her education in the BA program at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts under the direction of Dieter Heitkamp. There she gained knowledge about different somatic practices, improvisation techniques, and contact improvisation.

Whilst studying, she took extra courses in anatomy and sport psychology to create a safe and healthy dance practice. During her studies, she worked with different choreographers such as Cyril Baldy, Kristel van Issum, Peter Mika, Neel Verdoorn, and Daniel Morales Perez and participated in workshops like Flying Low with Narendra Patil, Gaga with Kasia Kizior, and Countertechnique with Elita Cannata.

She is interested in exploring the physical limits of the human body.
