Psychosocial counseling

Studying is not always easy and can be associated with some difficulties. The psychosocial counseling service of the Studierendenwerk Frankfurt am Main offers students the opportunity to discuss personal crises and study-related problems and to look for possible solutions together with a psychologist. Work blockades, relationship difficulties, depressive moods or fears - an open discussion can help to see things more clearly and to (re)discover one's own strengths. The offer is free of charge and strictly confidential.

Open consultation hours without appointment

You can come to an open consultation without an appointment for a first contact and have the opportunity to describe your situation in a 25- to 30-minute conversation. Together with the counselor, you will develop a perspective for further action. If there is a need for further counseling or therapy, the Studierendenwerk will help you get in touch with the appropriate authorities.
