What does it mean to pre­sent so­me­thing on sta­ge in front of an au­di­ence - to show, to play, to per­form? What ae­s­the­tic, ethi­cal and prac­ti­cal ques­ti­ons ari­se here? In the win­ter se­mes­ter 2022/23, the HTA in­vi­tes ten sta­ge-ex­pe­ri­en­ced ex­perts from the fields of ac­ting, per­for­mance, cho­reo­gra­phy, dance and sin­ging to talk about ap­pearan­ces and disap­pearan­ces, body images and per­for­mance con­cepts, re­p­re­sen­ta­ti­on and pre­sence, rehe­ar­sal pro­ces­ses and the (in)cer­tain so­me­thing.
