In the context of the fourth Biennale Tanzausbildung Prof. Ingo Diehl will moderate the panel on " The influence of dance research - new tools, thoughts and practices on the creative process". Panelists will be: Scott Delahunta (Project Manager Motion Bank), Annika Notér Hooshidar (University of Dance and Circus - DOCH, Stockholm), Dr. Friederike Lampert (Researcher "One of a Kind" by Jiri Kylian) and Bertha Bermúdez Pascual (Researcher)

In cooperation with Tanzlabor_21 and dance educator and MAztp alumna Nira Priore Nouak, the MAztp is developing a new project around the topic of dance mediation. As guests from the professional field Wiebke und Dröge and Christine Bürkle are invited.
Wild Week @ Tanzlabor_21, January 6 - 10, 2014
Third generation students of the Master's program in Contemporary Dance Education at the HfMDK teach the professional training with daily changing teachers. This "Wild Week" emphasizes a physical flow of bodies, materials and relationships in exchange with the space. Moving from one idea to another, MAztp students will guide participants to experience different perspectives on flowing energy and duration in movement. Classes will be led in co-teaching and a responsive teaching as a group experience at the end of the week.
Motion Bank LIVE & ONLINE, 11/28 - 12/1/2013
Students present work processes on Digital Tools as part of the official launch. MAztp partnered with Motion Bank/The Forsythe Company during the duration of the research project. More information to follow.
MAztp goes KulturTagJahr, 11/21 - 12/5/2013
Together with William Forsythe and the dancers of the Forsythe Company, MAztp master students will conduct three movement days with the students of the IGS Nordend between 21.11 and 05.12. The movement days are sponsored by the ALTANA Kulturstiftung.
MAztp @ Palucca University of Dance Dresden, November 11 - 15, 2013
Students of the third generation of MAztp will teach for a week in the bachelor course for dance at Palucca Hochschule Dresden about their working processes with new digital tools developed by dance artists and researchers. The results will be presented at the Motion Bank at the end of November.
Forum Tanzvermittlung, 30 October 2013 (ongoing)
In cooperation with Tanzlabor_21 and dance educator and MAztp alumna Nira Priore Nouak, the MAztp is developing a new project around the topic of dance mediation. The planned forum will facilitate an intensive practical and theoretical exchange on mediation issues, concepts and ideas. In an exchange with various actors from Frankfurt and the region, questions of mediation and cultural education will be discussed and tested. Up to four meetings per year are planned. An introductory event will take place on 30.10.2013

In the training approaches, "in-between spaces" are illuminated from the most diverse perspectives. In and out of states and spaces of "Transitions" or transitions. Allowing, countering, passing through - to what extent is the "transition" the dance itself?
