IT Se­cu­ri­ty

Against the back­drop of ri­sing cy­bercrime and in­crea­sing at­tacks on IT sys­tems, not only in the pri­va­te sec­tor but also in pu­blic in­sti­tu­ti­ons, IT se­cu­ri­ty is of cen­tral im­por­t­an­ce at the HfMDK.

The "In­for­ma­ti­on Se­cu­ri­ty Gui­de­li­ne of the HfMDK" de­ri­ves spa­ti­al, per­son­nel, or­ga­ni­za­tio­nal and tech­ni­cal se­cu­ri­ty re­qui­re­ments for the pro­tec­tion of in­for­ma­ti­on and data from the spe­ci­fi­ca­ti­ons of the In­for­ma­ti­on Se­cu­ri­ty Gui­de­li­ne of the Sta­te of Hes­se and ap­peals to the be­ha­vi­or and se­cu­ri­ty awa­reness of all uni­ver­si­ty mem­bers and staff (in­clu­ding tea­ching staff).

It is im­portant that the pro­tec­tion of IT is ac­cep­ted and li­ved as a chal­len­ge for all mem­bers of the uni­ver­si­ty.
