The sheet music streaming portal Nkoda holds

  • more than 100,000 sheet music editions
  • with 30 million pages of sheet music
  • from more than 80 publishers

in its library. Members of the HfMDK have free access to these editions.

For some ensemble projects in the winter semester 2023, digital sheet music from the nkoda app can be used, e.g. for

Symphony Orchestra

  • Edward Elgar: Variations on an Original Theme (Enigma). - e.g. Novello (score and parts)
  • Johannes Brahms: Variations on a Theme by Joseph Haydn op. 56a. - e.g. Breitkopf & Härtel (score and parts)
  • Francis Poulenc: Concerto en Sol mineur - pour orgue, orchestra à cordes & timbales (score, parts, solo part)

Chamber choir/symphony orchestra

  • Francis Poulenc: Gloria - Salabert (choral score, piano reduction, score, parts)
  • Francis Poulenc: Stabat mater - Salabert (piano score, score, parts)

How do you use the nkoda app?

  1. Download the nkoda app to your tablet.
  2. Log in via "Institution."
  3. Select "Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK)" as your institution.
  4. Use your HfMDK account for the login.
