"How to library!" - Introductions in the summer semester 2025

Target group: First-year students and "library newbies"

Group size: minimum 3, maximum 10 people

Duration: approx. 1 hour

Meeting point: vestibule of the library, Building B

  • Tuesday, April 15, 2025, 10.15 a.m. - Guided tour for all university and library newcomers
  • Wednesday, April 16, 2025, 12.15 p.m. - Guided tour for all university and library newcomers
  • Thursday, April 24, 2025, 3.15 pm - Guided tour for all university and library newcomers
  • Friday, April 25, 2025, 2 p.m. - Guided tour for all university and library newcomers

Another suggestion: On Friday, April 4, 2025, between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., HfMDK newcomers can get to know the library, take a look at the OPAC catalog and create a library card as part of the “Night of the Libraries”. No registration necessary - just drop by!

Information on the guided tours

  • Guided tours for the Acting and Theater and Orchestra Management degree courses only take place in the winter semester by appointment.

  • Small groups should make an individual appointment with the Library Director Kathrin Winter.

  • Due to the limited group size and the individual training content, please register here for one of the guided tours. Free places can also be booked spontaneously.
