Construction work in the anteroom to the library - noise and more...

The ad­mi­nis­tra­ti­ve staff on the "ar­tist track" - i.e. in buil­ding B - have been wai­ting a long time for a tea kit­chen. Now it will soon be rea­dy! The­re­fo­re, pipes have to be laid through the an­ter­oom of the li­bra­ry. As a re­sult, the­re will be noi­se pol­lu­ti­on in the li­bra­ry from June 30 un­til fur­ther no­ti­ce due to con­struc­tion work. The very noi­sy work will be car­ri­ed out be­fo­re the li­bra­ry opens. Howe­ver, even du­ring ope­ning hours, work can­not be car­ri­ed out wi­t­hout noi­se and dust.

In ad­di­ti­on:

• parts of the li­bra­ry an­ter­oom are cor­doned off
• no keys can be is­sued for li­bra­ry lo­ckers
• on July 11, 2025, un­til ap­pro­xi­mate­ly 12 noon: The re­strooms on the ground floor in front of the li­bra­ry and on the first floor on the “Künst­ler­lauf­bahn” will be un­avail­ab­le. Plea­se use the re­strooms in Buil­ding A or in the ca­fe­te­ria.
• should the doors be clo­sed, we will be avail­ab­le du­ring our re­gu­lar ope­ning hours (Mon-Fri 9:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.).
