CELEBRATION: Interpretation radius - how do the others do it?

news

The next orchestral project "Celebration" promises an exciting journey around four musical anniversaries of the year 2025: Maurice Ravel, Pierre Boulez, Eric Satie and Luciano Berio. The University Library's audiovisual offerings have a lot to offer anyone who would like to get a personal impression of this varied commemorative program:

On our streaming platforms Digital Concert Hall and Naxos Music Library as well as our own concert repository (with digitized recordings from the HfMDK) you can experience the works to be performed in a wide variety of interpretations. Whether in preparation for the event, for teaching purposes or for private enjoyment - there should be the ideal recording for every taste and for every "point of view".

To make the selection easier, here are a few recommendations:

Notes on use

1. Internal university use

In principle, all recordings can be accessed directly from the university network (eduroam). For the Digital Concert Hall, after clicking on the links above on your mobile device, you must click on the "Use institutional access" button and then save the first selection option ("I would like direct access...") - then you are in.

2. External use

The HfMDK concert repository is available outside the university without access restrictions. To use the Digital Concert Hall and Naxos Music Library outside the university, authentication as a university member is required.

Offers of assistance

For all those who are not yet familiar with the external use of the two platforms, there is also a quick guide available as a PDF download.
