Tanz­tref­fen der Ju­gend, 26 Sep­tem­ber 2015

Prof. Ingo Diehl is in­vi­ted as an ex­pert to the pa­nel dis­cus­sion "Tal­king about Dance" in the pro­fes­sio­nal pro­gram­me of the Tanz­tref­fen der Ju­gend of the Ber­li­ner Fest­spie­le. Du­ring the fes­ti­val, work­shops will be led by MA CoDE Alum­ni Be­rit Jent­zsch and Kaya Ko­lod­zie­jc­zyk.

 

Phy­si­cal In­tro­duc­tion at Tanz im Au­gust, 14 - 29 Au­gust 2015

MA CoDE alum­na Anja Born­sek leads the Phy­si­cal In­tro­duc­tions at this ye­ar's Tanz im Au­gust fes­ti­val in Ber­lin. The for­mat was de­ve­lo­ped by MA CoDE and first per­for­med at the fes­ti­val in 2013. You can find more de­tails about the for­mat un­der "Pro­jec­ts".

 

Eu­ropean Sum­mer School, 13 - 31 July 2015

Once again this year, M.F.A. Dance stu­dents from Hol­lins Uni­ver­si­ty (USA) will at­tend clas­ses with in­ter­na­tio­nal­ly re­now­ned ar­tists and scho­l­ars and ex­chan­ge ide­as with MA CoDE stu­dents as part of the Eu­ropean Sum­mer School. The three-week re­si­den­cy in Frank­furt is a coope­ra­ti­on with the Mas­ter's pro­gram in Con­tem­pora­ry Dance Edu­ca­ti­on at the Frank­furt Uni­ver­si­ty of Mu­sic and Per­forming Arts, the For­sy­the Com­pa­ny and the Künst­ler­haus Mou­son­turm.

 

Qua­li­ty Pact for Tea­ching Con­fe­rence in Leip­zig, 25 - 26 June 2015

Du­ring the sym­po­si­um "Lear­ning and Tea­ching Forms" of the BMBF, Su­san­ne Trie­bel pres­ents working for­mats such as Tea­ching-Lab, Speed-Da­ting as well as the men­to­ring for­mat of the MA CoDE pro­gram­me in a work­shop of the spe­cia­list group Art and Mu­sic wi­t­hin the frame­work of the Net­work of Mu­sic Uni­ver­si­ties.

 

Pie­ce­ma­ker an­no­ta­ti­ons on co-tea­ching for­mats, 22 - 25 June 2015

As part of our co-tea­ching week, 5th MA CoDE Ge­nera­ti­on stu­dents will tri­al co-tea­ching as a team as well as dif­fe­rent feed­back for­mats. This stu­dio prac­tice will be an­no­ta­ted and eva­lua­ted using a ver­si­on of the Pie­ce­ma­ker pro­gram ap­p­lied wi­t­hin the Mo­ti­on Bank. This will re­flect on their own prac­tice and ge­ne­ra­te ma­te­ri­al that can be fed back into their tea­ching prac­tice.

 

Pro­fi­le rai­sing of the MA CoDE cur­ri­cu­lum, 13 June 2015

Re­vi­si­on of the stu­dy and ex­ami­na­ti­on re­gu­la­ti­ons of the MA CoDE tog­e­ther with the Bo­lo­gna Of­fi­cer of the HfMDK. Stu­dents and alum­ni of the 3rd, 4th and 5th ge­nera­ti­on dis­cuss de­ve­lop­ment pos­si­bi­li­ties of the MA CoDE for the fu­ture tog­e­ther with the pro­gram­me ma­nage­ment. The chan­ges are in­ten­ded to shar­pen the pro­fi­le of the de­gree pro­gram­me in its ori­en­ta­ti­on towards prac­tice-ba­sed re­se­arch in dance and to crea­te space for the de­ve­lop­ment of in­no­va­ti­ve me­dia­ti­on for­mats.

 

Sym­po­si­um: Ar­tis­tic Prac­tice as Re­se­arch, 9 May 2015

On 9 May 2015, the Col­le­ge will host the sym­po­si­um 'Ar­tis­tic Prac­tice as Re­se­ar­ch'. It is in­itia­ted by the WG Ar­tis­tic Re­se­arch, which was foun­ded in the sum­mer se­mes­ter 2014 and in which Prof. Diehl has been in­vol­ved sin­ce the be­gin­ning. At the sym­po­si­um, he will give a lec­tu­re en­t­it­led "Si­gna­tu­re Prac­ti­ses 2014", in which he will dis­cuss prac­tice-ba­sed re­se­arch in the MA CoDE.

This se­mes­ter, the "MA CoDE Re­se­arch Lec­tu­re" for­mat will take place for the first time. Selec­ted guests will talk to the stu­dents about their re­se­arch ques­ti­ons and working me­thods.
