Isaac Spen­cer is a dan­cer, tea­cher, men­tor, rehe­ar­sal di­rec­tor and cur­r­ent­ly the ac­ting pro­fes­sor for bal­let tech­ni­ques at the Frank­furt Uni­ver­si­ty of Mu­sic and Per­forming Arts.

In ad­di­ti­on to tea­ching bal­let, part­ne­ring, and sta­ging re­perto­ry, he works clo­se­ly with the team of the HfMDK dance de­part­ment to fos­ter an en­vi­ron­ment of lear­ning whe­re stu­dents have agen­cy and ac­tively par­ti­ci­pa­te in sha­ping the field in which they would like to en­ter. This is achie­ved through prac­ti­cal and theo­re­ti­cal cour­ses an­cho­red in a con­ti­nu­al pra­xis of cri­ti­cal re­flec­tion and ethi­cal re­spon­si­bi­li­ty, fu­el­led by the spi­rit of in­no­va­ti­on and pro­fes­sio­na­lism.
