MAztp AU­DI­TION BER­LIN, Au­gust 19-20, 2013

Af­ter Fin­land, Linz and Frank­furt, the MAztp in­vi­tes in­te­rested par­ties to the last au­di­tion for the up­co­m­ing run for the win­ter se­mes­ter 2013_14, in Ber­lin. The au­di­tion will take place du­ring TANZ IM AU­GUST at the HZT.

MAztp @ Tanz im Au­gust, Au­gust 16 - 31, 2013

Tog­e­ther with stu­dents of MAztp, cho­reo­graph­ers and dan­cers will give a phy­si­cal in­sight into their work in warm-ups be­fo­re the per­for­man­ces du­ring the fes­ti­val events. In con­trast to con­ven­tio­nal in­tro­duc­to­ry events, this of­fers the chan­ce to ex­pe­ri­ence the ar­tis­tic si­gna­tu­re of the cho­reo­graph­ers at first hand through ex­er­ci­ses and con­cre­te examp­les on their own bo­dies. Par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on and dan­cing is en­cou­ra­ged. The for­mat was de­ve­lo­ped by Prof. Ingo Diehl tog­e­ther with Bet­ti­na Ma­such, the ar­tis­tic di­rec­tor of the fes­ti­val.

MAztp/IDOCDE/Im­PulsTanz, July 27, 2013

Prof. Ingo Diehl will par­ti­ci­pa­te in a pa­nel on "do­cu­men­ta­ti­on" as part of Im­PulsTanz. The pa­nel is part of the IDOCDE sym­po­si­um "The re­turn of the idocs."
The in­ter­na­tio­nal IDOCDE pro­ject ("In­ter­na­tio­nal Do­cu­men­ta­ti­on of Con­tem­pora­ry Dance Edu­ca­ti­on") was in­itia­ted in 2011 to high­light and do­cu­ment ex­em­pla­ry tea­ching and trai­ning me­thods for tea­ching con­tem­pora­ry dance. The aim of the pro­ject is to pro­mo­te in­ter­na­tio­nal coope­ra­ti­on bet­ween dance tea­chers and at the same time to rai­se awa­reness of this art form.

Tanz­Sprint 13, July 8-14, 2013

The 6th Tanz­sprint will take place at the HfMDK. Gra­dua­tes and stu­dents from the in­ter­na­tio­nal MAztp net­work will pro­vi­de an up-to-date in­sight into va­rious dance tech­ni­ques and working me­thods in work­shops. Par­ti­ci­pants of dif­fe­rent ages and with dif­fe­rent pre­vious know­ledge take part in the work­shops and ex­chan­ge mee­tings.

DANCE CON­GRESS 2013 in Düs­sel­dorf, June 6 - 9, 2013

Every year the stu­dents of the Frank­furt Mas­ter Pro­gram Con­tem­pora­ry Dance Pe­dago­gy (MAztp) or­ga­ni­ze the week-long work­shop fes­ti­val 'Tanz­Sprin­t' for ama­teurs and pro­fes­sio­nal dan­cers. For the dance con­gress, they have de­ve­lo­ped va­rious phy­si­cal-dance trai­ning of­fers from cur­rent working ma­te­ri­als on dance tech­ni­ques and "di­gi­tal tools", which will take place dai­ly in par­al­lel in five stu­di­os. A ran­ge of new trai­ning ap­proa­ches will be tested in 30-mi­nu­te tea­chings.

MAztp at North Ka­re­lia Col­le­ge in Ou­to­kum­pu / Fin­land, May 11 - 20, 2013

The MAztp is go­ing on a field trip to Fin­land. The working week was de­si­gned in coope­ra­ti­on with North Ka­re­lia Col­le­ge in Ou­to­kum­pu. The un­der­gra­dua­te stu­dents in Ou­to­kum­pu will be taught by the MAzt­p's. In ad­di­ti­on, the MAztp will hold an au­di­tion in Kuo­pio on May 18 and 19, ai­med at ap­p­li­cants for the win­ter se­mes­ter 2013/14.
