Chamber music series at Frankfurt's Holzhausenschlösschen

The HfMDK, together with the Frankfurt Bürgerstiftung, is organizing the concert series Voraushören at the Holzhausenschlösschen, for which excellent chamber music ensembles can apply. The musicians of the four selected ensembles will be supported by working scholarships from the Rotary Club Frankfurt Römer.

• Application deadline and details: will be announced in each case.
• Type, duration and amount of funding: one-off scholarship of 1,000 euros/person.
• Open to ensembles of any instrumental combination of 3 to max. 6 players, the majority of whom study at the HfMDK, as well as duos studying for a Master's degree in chamber music at the HfMDK.

In cooperation with the Frankfurter Bürgerstiftung, sponsored by the Rotary Club Römer.

Concert series in the Mozart Hall of the Alte Oper.

HfMDK students play the favorite pieces of Frankfurt's public figures in the "Mein Lieblingsstück" series of discussion concerts. The students are selected by the respective professors on the basis of the program requests, a direct application is not possible.

In cooperation with the Gesellschaft der Freude der Alten Oper.

As part of the open-air concert series "Promenade Concerts", HfMDK ensembles are given the opportunity to perform in the music pavilion of Frankfurt's Palmengarten every year.

• All ensembles and soloists of the HfMDK are eligible to apply.

Concert series shortcuts for contemporary music, performance and performing arts, curated by the Institute for Contemporary Music IzM of the HfMDK.

Concert series with HfMDK students at the Altes Rathaus Burgholzhausen, for which all HfMDK ensembles and soloists can apply.

In cooperation with the Kulturamt Burgholzhausen.

Live Music Now combines the idea of bringing music to people who are unable to attend concerts due to their life situation with the promotion of young, talented artists. Live Music Now Frankfurt am Main e.V. works closely with the HfMDK to achieve this.

• The application deadline and details are announced once a year in a call for applications : The next application deadline is October 31, 2025, the audition will take place on November 10, 2025 at the HfMDK.
• Funding type/duration and amount: remunerated, non-public concert in a social institution
• Musicians and ensembles of the HfMDK can apply, for details see call for applications. The selection will be made in an audition by a selection committee consisting of HfMDK teachers and representatives of Live Music Now.
