Parking regulations and fees

1. Salaried employees, civil servants and professors employed by the HfMDK are liable to pay.

2. Lecturers and salaried employees up to EG 7 are exempt from the payment obligation.

3. The payment obligation is € 10,- per month for all parking spaces, regardless of whether they are located in the underground garage or the external parking area.

4. The parking authorization is activated on a monthly basis, at most until the end of the current year.

1. The underground parking garage is only available to employees and professors.

2. Students are not provided with parking spaces

3. There are no personal parking spaces and the parking permit does not generate any entitlement to a free parking space.

4. Guests are registered in advance at the gate (Pforte) by the inviting persons. They are granted access via the intercom system upon entry. They must then collect a guest parking permit at the gate, in which the gate attendant enters the date and the vehicle registration number. This is only valid on the day of issue and must be placed clearly visible behind the windshield.

1. Entitlement to admission does not constitute a claim to a free parking space.
2. If no free parking space is available, admission will automatically not be granted.
3. The parking authorization is only valid during your class / working hours.
4. The university is not liable in case of loss / theft or damage of the vehicle including all items in the car.
5. Driving on and entering the parking area as well as staying on the same is at your own risk.
6. The university is not liable for personal injury or property damage.

1. The parking area may only be driven on at walking speed.
2. The current version of the Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) applies.
3. You must stop in front of closed barriers. The entry and exit barriers open automatically by license plate recognition. The barriers close automatically immediately after each passage. Backing up in the area of the barrier system is prohibited.
4. Vehicles may only be parked in the designated parking areas. Blocked parking spaces are not to be used. Vehicles parked in violation of traffic regulations will be towed away at the risk and expense of the driver or owner.
5. The user shall park his vehicle within the marking of the parking space and in such a way that unhindered entry and exit is possible at all times, also in the neighboring parking spaces.
6. The driveways as well as the fire department access routes must be kept clear
7. Not permitted is:
   1. the parking of vehicles in the marked no-parking areas
   2. the use of fire
   3. refueling of the vehicle
   4. running the engine
   5. parking and storing objects, especially fuel and inflammable objects, such as empty fuel containers, etc.
   6. parking a vehicle with a leaking tank or carburetor, as well as other damage to the car that endangers the parking areas
   7. parking of vehicles that are not registered by the police
   8. skateboarding, cycling and using other playground and sports equipment
   9. Making repairs, washing or otherwise cleaning vehicles and draining cooling water, fuel and oil
   10. dumping trash or ashtray contents.

1. The vehicle can be parked in one of the available parking spaces in the underground garage. Blocked parking spaces are not to be used here either. The e-car parking spaces are only allowed for registered users and e-cars.
2. Not permitted is:
   1. to park the car backwards
   2. staying in the underground car park - in the parked vehicle - beyond the time of the parking and collection process
   3. unauthorized operation of the equipment in the garage
   4. smoking and the use of fire.

The HfMDK's domiciliary rights are not restricted by the parking regulations.
