Tim Vog­ler was born in Ber­lin. Stu­di­ed vio­lin at the Hanns Eis­ler Aca­de­my of Mu­sic in Ber­lin. Pri­zes at several na­tio­nal and in­ter­na­tio­nal com­pe­ti­ti­ons.

Foun­ded the Vog­ler Quar­tet in 1985 and has been its first vio­li­nist ever sin­ce.
