Emilie Aschmann

Emilie Aschmann is a dancer from Berlin, currently completing her studies in contemporary and classical dance at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt. During her studies, she worked with choreographers such as Heidi Vierthaler, Sade Mamedova, and Ioannis Mandafounis. In 2024, she danced in his piece „Join“. In her practice, she especially enjoys interdisciplinary work. This includes experimenting not only with dance, but also with acrobatics, acting, and voice. Since 2023, she has been involved in the project „Linie in Bewegung“ (Freie Kunstakademie Frankfurt) in which the Art of moving and drawing is in direct exchange. In the course of her research into a more theatrical approach within dance, the duet „Bob + ?“ emerged and was presented with her study colleague as a part of the Hjorted Art and Music Festival in Sweden.
