The Trio Ernest was founded in 2019 in Geneva and plays in concerts throughout Europe.

They are Artists in Residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel and have already won six international prizes, including Pro Musicis Prize (Paris), the First Prize of the Verao Classico Chamber Music Award (Lisbon), or the Orpheus Competition (Zürich). The trio is Ensemble in Residence at ProQuartet-CEMC, Paris from October 2020. It is accepted in the European Chamber Music Academy in June 2021.

The three musicians explore with passion and creativity the Piano Trio Repertoire in concert series such as Bozar Next Generation (Brussels), Swiss Chamber Music Festival, Festival Ravel, Les Schubertiades de Sion, Verao Classico Festival, Les Matinées Musicales d’Arles, Puplinge Classique, and in original projects in which they are Artistic Directors.

In this context, they are lead to collaborate with artists such as Miguel da Silva, Ophélie Gaillard, Patrick Genet (Quatuor Sine Nomine), Patrick Jüdt, Stephan MacLeod, Gabriel Pidoux, Orchestre Juventutti and the composer Carlos Roque Alsina, whose piece Quasi Figurativo they have created in october 2020.

The Trio has been selected to join Le Dimore Del Quartetto network.
