Trio Delyria was founded in the summer of 2020 in Frankfurt am Main/Berlin by three Israeli musicians living in Germany, who came together at a challenging time with a shared love of the piano trio repertoire and a dream to explore it.

Within a few months, the trio began studying with Prof. Angelika Merkle at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and has since gained much experience and recognition through performances at major venues such as the Alte Oper Frankfurt and the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, as well as on various radio stations in Germany and in Israel.

They have won prizes at national and international competitions, including the Bad Homburg Promotional Prize for Chamber Music and the second and audience prizes at the International Schumann Chamber Music Competition. Following their success at the Schumann Chamber Music Prize, the trio has been invited to perform again at the Alte Oper in the 2023 season. Other highlights of the upcoming season include debut performances in various concert series in Frankfurt am Main, Baden-Baden, Hannover and in Israel.

The trio is fortunate to receive instruction and advice from some of the finest chamber musicians and pedagogues in Germany and abroad. They are currently studying for the concert exam in the class of Angelika Merkle in Frankfurt and in parallel are attending the International Institute of Chamber Music at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid at the invitation of Günter Pichler.
