Scho­lar­ships & Fi­nan­cial Aid

We want to sup­port you so that you can fo­cus on your stu­dies wi­t­hout fi­nan­cial wor­ries! To help co­ver the cos­ts of your dai­ly life as a stu­dent or to car­ry out ar­tis­tic or edu­ca­tio­nal pro­jects, you can ap­p­ly for num­erous in­ter­nal scho­lar­ships and grants—made pos­si­ble by the HfMDK and its spon­sors*—as well as ex­ter­nal scho­lar­ships and grants. We’re hap­py to ad­vi­se you and help you with the ap­pli­ca­ti­on pro­cess.

In fi­nan­cial emer­gen­ci­es, you can ap­p­ly for fi­nan­cial as­sis­tance from the SOS Fund or a loan from the Stu­dent Par­lia­ment, and sub­mit a hard­ship ap­pli­ca­ti­on to the AStA. The Stu­die­ren­den­werk Frank­furt of­fers coun­sel­ing ap­point­ments re­gar­ding go­vern­ment as­sis­tance such as BAföG and housing al­lo­wan­ce, as well as fi­nan­cing th­rough stu­dent lo­ans and other lo­ans. In­ter­na­tio­nal stu­dents fa­cing fi­nan­cial hard­ship can ap­p­ly for fi­nan­cial as­sis­tance from the Emer­gen­cy Fund for In­ter­na­tio­nal Stu­dents (STI­BET). The ap­pli­ca­ti­on form is available upon re­quest from the In­ter­na­tio­nal Of­fice. To ap­p­ly, plea­se send an email to in­ter­na­tio­nal@orga.hfmdk-frank­furt.de.
