Earth Night: Art and the climate crisis from an interdisciplinary perspective: the "Earth Night" concert series combines artistic contributions with critical impulses. Members of the university address climate change and its effects on the earth with music, dance, theater and exhibitions. The event is organized in a sustainable and resource-saving manner.

Green Talks: The "Green Talks" lecture series gives those interested in sustainability, nature and the environment the opportunity to gain an insight and overview of these major topics. Lectures have been held on topics such as "Sustainability in cultural institutions", "Climate catastrophe from an anti-racist perspective" and "Effects of climate change on health".

Clothes swap party: At the regular clothes swap parties at the university, you can swap second-hand clothes, shoes, accessories and bags to give your wardrobe a sustainable boost.

This includes exchanges on topics relevant to the university and its future, such as meetings with the New Building Commission and regular meetings with our Chancellor Kerstin Hort-Schelm, as well as the formulation* of our list of demands.

This working group is responsible for the promotion of events and the visibility of our work. In addition to our website, this includes membership of the editorial advisory board of the university magazine "Frankfurt in Takt" ("Green Thoughts") and public relations work via our Instagram profile.

The aim is to collaborate with other universities and initiatives. We are currently involved in the Öko-Landest-ASten conference (Hesse), the Green Offices Rhine-Main network and the CO2 project - climate-conscious canteen (nationwide).

The fundraising group organizes the financing of projects in the Green Office.

In order to make the university more sustainable, digital sustainability posters were created on topics such as "The Kitchen Guide" - cooking with seasonal and regional food and "Second-Hand - clothing stores in Frankfurt". We are also working on promoting more biodiversity in the university's inner courtyard.
