Our worlds, including the arts, are becoming increasingly digitized. Smartphones make social media a constant companion for many people, who not only reflect their lives in the digital world almost simultaneously, but also live them in parallel. Virtual realities are emerging alongside physical experiences and are becoming increasingly elaborate and complex, even beyond social media.

Can AI help with composing? Who is the author then? Does motion capture help us understand movement and music-making patterns? What does this mean for teaching? Can I invent new worlds?

Lectures, discussions, and workshops will explore the extent to which these digital worlds can be productive for artists and their work.
