Born in Turin, Giorgia Sassone began her dance training at the Germana Erba High School in Turin, where she received an education in classical ballet and in modern dance techniques such as Graham, Cunningham, and Limón.

After graduating, she moved to Geneva to attend the two-year professional program at Area Jeune Ballet, where she deepened her knowledge of contemporary dance and drew inspiration from the work of Francesco Curci, Kristian Lever, and Blenard Azizaj.

She is currently in her third year at HfMDK in Frankfurt, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in dance. Throughout her studies, Giorgia has had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned choreographers including Ioannis Mandafounis, Heidi Vierthaler, Damian Gmür, and Sade Mamedova, all of whom have played an important role in her artistic development.

Her artistic research is guided by a deep curiosity and a constant desire to explore new movement languages, with a particular interest in the integration of dance with other artistic disciplines.
