The Night of the Libraries at the HfMDK
See you on April 4, 2025 at the Night of the Libraries! Under the motto "Knowledge. Share. Discover.", libraries all over Germany will be shining brightly. The library of the HfMDK Frankfurt will also take part: in the afternoon there will be offers for students, from 6 p.m. we will open the doors and our special music collection to everyone.
Research, rarities, repository - a special library for musicians
The library night starts in the afternoon for all students: despite the semester break, we are extending our opening hours on April 4 so that students can work on their (postponed?) assignments in peace and quiet until around 5.30 pm.
From 6 p.m., the public is also invited to get to know our special sheet music collection, research the catalog, view rarities and play them in public or in a "quiet little room". Musical contributions will be performed live in concert and streamed digitally from the HfMDK repository.
