"Maybe wildness" at Mousonturm: Rehearsal trailer
With "Maybe wildness" , the BA Dance course at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts will present a program of six choreographic works dedicated to the wanderings, deviations and pulse of the next generation of dance artists on 23, 24 and 25 May 2025 at Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm.
In the trailer, Prof. Isaac Spencer talks about the power of artistic risk - and how initial uncertainty becomes the starting point for a shared vision.

»Anyone who's ever made anything knows that the process goes through many ups and downs. The thrill of trying something new and the frustration of maybe not knowing where it's headed - all of these things, I think, are something the students definitely learn: To trust the process and, moreover, to trust that they're listening to each other and that it really is a group effort to bring this artwork to life.«Prof. Isaac Spencer
Whether gentle, unknown, different or wild: In close collaboration with guest choreographers Yossi Berg & Oded Graf, Sade Mamedova and Lucyna Zwolińska, the students have created three new works. They will also be showing three newly compiled works: concepts and materials from "The Second Detail" by honorary professor William Forsythe, "Almost Angels" by Heidi Vierthaler and "Matsutake" by training director Prof. Damian Gmür.
An event of the HfMDK with students of the BA Dance and Bachelor Drama courses, supported by the Hessian Theater Academy. Part of the Rhine-Main Dance Platform.
