32 new Corona Aid Scholarships
With the generous support of the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation, the HfMDK Foundation and the Society of Friends and Patrons of the HfMDK, we are once again able to provide 32 Corona Aid Scholarships.
These scholarships give longer-term assistance: €300 per month for 6 months, starting April 1, 2022. Support is primarily intended for students who are in need.
The award procedure is as follows:
- All students enrolled for the full summer semester have the opportunity to be nominated by a teacher: If interested in applying for a Corona Aid Scholarship, please fill out the form below to do so, explaining your need, and hand the form to the teacher.
- The teacher recommending a student for the scholarship will give the form to the Dean's Office. Only applications for which the form has been completed and submitted to the Dean's Office through the teachers will be considered.
- The application goes via the teacher to the dean's offices of the departments, who make the selection decision. The dean's offices will collect faculty proposals until April 24, 2022.
- Based on the submitted proposals, the deaneries make a selection. They document this decision on their own responsibility.
- The deaneries pass on their decision to Fundraising with the relevant application forms.
- Fundraising informs the scholarship holders and arranges the payment of the scholarships.
One more important piece of information:
If you receive a Deutschlandstipendium, you cannot cannot receive additional support from a Corona Aid Scholarship.
